A 20 watt brain running 24 hours a day all year long burns through roughly 175 kilowatt hours of energy in a year. And then what Americans pay for electricity typically 175 kilowatt hours cost about 20 bucks, maybe 25 if one lives somewhere expensive. There was exactly one way to manufacture a thinking machine that ran on 20 watts and that was to get busy with it and raise a human being for 20 years. The idea is to automate the entire week of work, and they make it completely free for the audience for the first 1,000 people with a bonus stack that's worth over $5,100 if one join and attend. Maybe it's 5,000 or 10,000, but whatever that number is, that's incredible [snorts] margin. The 3,000 to 1 ratio that they talked about earlier doesn't stay there. Overall, this points to specialized systems and vertically integrated players shaping what comes next far more than surface narratives suggest.
