Farzad: Deliver AI Benefits. Stop Explaining Them.
Farzad told AI leaders to ship the abundance, boosted a Vercel AI Gateway token-share chart, and amplified the space-datacenter bet.
Stop explaining AI. Deliver it.
On David Senra's podcast, dropped about 9:00 CT on Aug 23, Sam Altman said we have not, as a field, done a very good job of explaining to people what the benefits are and how the downsides can be mitigated. That is about people building AI, not a presser and not an Altman X post. Kalshi at 12:50 CT paraphrased it as AI leaders not doing a "very good" job explaining benefits. Farzad quoted Kalshi at 13:30 CT: AI leaders need to worry less about explaining the benefits of AI and do more to deliver the benefits of AI. Prove out the abundance thesis early, and make THAT visible. Farzad's ask on Altman's Senra line, not a quote of Altman.

Open-weight tokens jumped on Vercel AI Gateway. Farzad tags $SPCX.
Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch on Aug 22: open-weight share of tokens on Vercel AI Gateway hit a one-day record 62% on Aug 22, up from 28.4% on Jun 24. That is Gateway share, not global market share. Gavin Baker cited that chart on Aug 23, rounded 28.4 to 28, and separately said the sum of OpenAI and Anthropic accelerated in July. Baker also said an open-source token still costs compute. July accel is Baker's read, not a Rauch label. Farzad: This is incredibly bullish for $SPCX as they accelerate to build the largest % of total tokens generated per year. $SPCX as written is SpaceX (NASDAQ: SPCX). Farzad's thesis on Baker's infra post, not a SpaceX IR claim.

Space datacenters as the call of the year
Zach Weinberg, Aug 24 01:21 UTC: Elon deciding that it's too hard to build datacenters on earth so he's going to put them in space is turning out to be the call of the year. Farzad reposted it at 6:58 CT with no comment. Commentary on the existing orbital-DC thesis (AI1 details were June 2026), not a new Aug 24 SpaceX announcement.
