Fleet ops: airline / Amazon, not Tesla mopping cars

Farzad, Sep 4, replying in-thread: he thinks Tesla is signaling for third parties to take on fleet management, cleaning, and the rest so Tesla can go balls to the wall on production. He never saw Tesla managing its own fleet outside keeping the car from crashing. Becomes like a quasi-airline / Amazon model — Airbus/Boeing sell planes to fleet operators; Amazon sells shipping capacity to individuals and fleet managers. Earlier in the same thread he told @mikepat711 right now is safety validation. That is Farzad’s read of Tesla’s signaling, not a Tesla IR filing cited in the tweets.
