Farzad: "Cooked." on the AT&T CEO Interview About Starlink Mobile + His Personal Use Case of Agents Is "Melting My Brain" as Elon Says Agentic Demand Is Growing Faster Than Anything He Has Seen Grow
Starlink Mobile came up on Farzad's timeline again Saturday, this time through the AT&T CEO, and Farzad answered in one word. That evening he said his personal use case of agents is melting his brain. Late that evening he RTd Elon on stranded compute.
"Cooked."
SawyerMerritt, Saturday at 10:08am CT: AT&T CEO in new interview on SpaceX's @Starlink Mobile: "Our competitors cannot and will not match our operating proficiency, network performance, or exceptional converged value proposition. I think LEO constellations are fantastic for delivering bandwidth to rural areas."
The live post goes on. The CEO also said he would not over rotate on what he would call one carrier of low band spectrum. SawyerMerritt adds that SpaceX said earlier this week it plans to launch its next generation Starlink Mobile service, built for 5G speeds, in early 2028, and that this will for the first time deploy both satellite and terrestrial spectrum. He says SpaceX is set to become the fourth major U.S. carrier, which is clearly making T Mobile, AT&T and Verizon nervous. LEO is low Earth orbit, the band of space where Starlink's satellites fly.
Farzad quoted it at 11:01am CT: Cooked.
That one word is the whole post. It's Farzad's read, and he didn't say who he thinks is cooked.

Less than an hour later he posted a video. Check Why Phones Think Starlink Satellites Are Cell Towers, Saturday at 11:59am CT, here.
"Melting my brain"
Elon Musk, Saturday at 11:49am CT, replying to aaronburnett: Agentic demand is growing faster than I've ever seen anything grow.
That's Elon's claim, and his post doesn't put a number on it. "Agentic" refers to AI agents, which is software that works through tasks on its own instead of answering one prompt at a time.
Farzad quoted it at 6:02pm CT: My personal use case of agents is melting my brain.
That's Farzad describing his own experience. The post doesn't say what the use case is.

Elon on stranded compute
At 8:32pm CT Saturday, Elon replied to Yuchenj_UW: I think we're going to see a lot of stranded compute in partially complete data centers.
Stranded compute means computing hardware that can't be put to work, and Elon links it to data centers that aren't finished. The prediction is his. His reply doesn't say when or where he expects it, and Yuchenj_UW's post isn't in this pull.
Farzad RTd it at 11:04pm CT and didn't add a comment.
