China's New Robots Are Actually Shocking: Why Machine Hours Rewrite Labor

If it operates for 2 8 hour shifts a day for 300 days a year for 5 years, the purchase price works out to a little more than $4 per scheduled operating hour. Overall, this points to specialized systems and vertically integrated players shaping what comes next far more than surface narratives suggest.
