Elon Walked an Intel Fab With SpaceX and Tesla
Elon said it was an honor to be shown Intel's Oregon fab, and that he is looking forward to a great partnership with SpaceX and Tesla - 46 million views. A chipmaker, a rocket company, and a car-and-robot company sharing a fab roadmap is how you build a compute stack you do not rent from one GPU vendor.

Elon called the GB300 the best AI computer. The next 10 years of intelligence are won by whoever can buy, build, and power the best AI computers at scale.

Elon told Sawyer Merritt that xAI will be dissolved as a separate company, so it will just be SpaceXAI, the AI products from SpaceX. Folding the model lab into the launch-and-power company is a bet that AI is an industrial product.

Amazon is making it so anyone, from a one-person shop to a multi-hundred person team, can rent the trucking, warehousing, sorting, and delivery machine built for amazon.com, and in 5 to 10 years an explosion of physical AI makes that insanely nutty. When anyone can call Amazon's atom-moving API, the constraint on a physical business stops being a warehouse lease.

Wall Street is counting Robotaxis. The market is decided by miles. Tesla: 10 billion. Waymo: 200 million. Same doubling pace, 50x the base. Wright's law does the rest. A 50x data lead at the same growth rate is how one stack prices the other out over a decade.

FSD is the greatest AI use-case visible today, and everyone should own a Tesla. The first AI product that moves a two-ton object through the real world at scale will reprice every other use case that still lives in a browser tab.

I really hope Dario Amodei drops the doomer narrative now that he has partnered with SpaceX. SpaceX is the epitome of a positive future. Anthropic is the epitome of a suicidal emo person. Safety culture that cannot imagine a positive future will lose talent to the labs building the world they want to live in.

SpaceX is a vertically integrated hyperscaler: Power (Tesla), Chips (Terafab), Capacity (Starship), Connectivity (Starlink), Labor (Optimus). If those five layers stay under one roof, the next 20 years of compute, transport, and labor get priced by one stack.
